Famille Messager-Germain, Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Herbues, 2023 NO WINE SEARCHER this wine represents the bestA 2023 Pinot Noir from the north of the Nuits Saint Georges appellation, planted on marly limestone soils similar to Vosne Romane. Harvested by hand with 30% whole bunches and given a cool 5 day pre fermentation maceration, the wine spent 12 months aging in oak (30% new) and was left unfiltered. Rose, violet, lavender and spice characterize the nose, while silky tannins frame fresh red fruit on a lifted, elegant palate with mineral persistence.
