Magoutes Vineyard, Vieilles Vignes Blanc de Noirs (Xinomavro), 2025 MSK_CHAMP_PS_22 Serve it not too coldThis is a white wine made from Xinomavro, a red grape, pressed straight off the skins so the juice runs pale in the manner of a blanc de noirs. It comes from Magoutes, the old vineyard above Siatista in Greek Macedonia that Dimitrios Diamantis's grandfather hand grafted more than a century ago; Dimitrios used that genetic material in the 1990s to replant 18 hectares, and he is now pushing to make Siatista Greece's fifth Xinomavro based appellation.
